Siggraph Asia 2022
I am honored to announce that my digital NFT artwork, "Patient 05," has been selected for display at the Siggraph 2022 Asian venue after a series of evaluations and screenings. As the largest annual global computer graphics event, Siggraph, which has been held since 1974, showcases the latest advancements in digital technology and creative digital works to audiences worldwide. This inclusion provides Korean audiences with a glimpse into the captivating world of digital art.
Many assumed that the increased use of modern technology in the workplace would allow mankind to sit back more, yet some people are working longer hours than ever.
“The Patient” series is reflecting on the role of a modern work environment and how it impacts our life, using ironic visuals to depict imagined morbid scenarios unfolding itself in what could appear as a normal workplace. The main goal of this series is to allow people to sit down and think whether our life really exist only for work, and how we can live more like a person than a machine.
SIGGRAPH Asia’s Art Gallery showcases the latest innovations in digital art and provides a creative space for artists and attendees to gather.
