Statement:

 

Conceived and co-curated by Kim, ‘Gesticulator’ bought together nine London-based artists for an exhibition exploring the theme of the gesture in contemporary art and everyday life, taking Giorgio Agamben’s essay ‘Notes on Gesture’ as a point of departure. Each artist was invited to produce new work especially for the show, with an emphasis on experimental approaches to familiar media.
